Project Information:

The existing metal roof is approximately 26 years old. An outside consulting engineering firm was hired to provide a condition assessment report for the roof of this building. That report is provided here for reference. Also, UNC Design and Construction Guidelines for Employee Fall Protection are provided for easy reference.

Scope of Work

1. Test the roof coating for hazardous materials. If the tests establish the presence of hazardous materials, a design and plan for their abatement will need to be executed.
2. Replace the existing roof with a new copper roof.
3. Install fall protection
4. Replace all damaged and deteriorated wood.
