Project Information:

The emergency generator is at the end of its theoretical life; it is the oldest on campus and the manufacturer will no longer supply spare parts.

These funds provide for replacement of the existing generator with a modern clean burning unit which meets or exceeds NAAQS (National Ambient Air Quality Standards) for diesel exhaust emissions.

• Remove existing generator and steel fuel tank
• Rework brick screen wall as needed
• Form and pour concrete pad to accommodate new equipment
• Install new generator and fuel tank
• Re-work existing feeder and control wiring to new location and terminate
• Generator shop start-up and check-out
