Project Information: This elevator was installed in 1970 and has a very high usage rate. It has reached the end of its useful service life. It is obsolete and repairs have been improvised numerous times. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find replacement parts. Scope of Work A survey and condition assessment of all key components of this elevator needs to be prepared. A design to renew and update all systems should then be created and implemented. All work needs to be coordinated with Leon (Fred) Gilbert of UNC-CH Work Management Group at 962-1271.
