Project Information:

The Dental Office Building has three roof sectors:

1. Main Roof – ballasted EPDM, last known replacement year 1980.
2. Canopy – gravel surfaced built up roof, last known replacement year 1980.
3. Connector – ballasted EPDM, last known replacement year 1980.

These roofs were inspected by an outside consulting engineering firm as part of the preparation of a condition assessment report. That report is provided here for reference. Also, UNC Design and Construction Guidelines for Employee Fall Protection are provided for easy reference.

All three roof sectors have exceeded the useful expected life cycle for these types of roofs. The main roof and the connector have saturated insulation and failed roof membranes.

Scope of Work  

Replace all three roof sectors.
