Project Information:

The roof is slate on nail-able concrete planks. The slate roof felt underlayment has rotted and needs to be replaced. The ridges and valleys need to be rebuilt. The slate used on this roof is "soft" slate which is brittle and difficult to work with. Remove the existing slate shingles, replace damaged roof sheathing, install new felt, reinstall existing slate shingles, and replace damaged slate shingles as required.
