2003-04 Projects from the COPs Reserve For Repairs and Renovaton (Dental Office Building)

Project Information:

The building is conditioned by several original constant volume terminal reheat HVAC systems. The AHUs and ductwork are lined with fiberglass insulation, the condensate drain pans and chilled water coil framing are corroded, mold and mildew are present in the AHUs and ductwork, and the systems have exceed the end-of-service life. This project will enable replacing all AHUs with new double-wall construction units. All ductwork will be removed and replaced with externally-insulated ductwork, including addition of VAV-reheat terminal unit systems. Chilled water and reheat water piping will be replaced and extended to the units. This project will require that the acoustical ceiling and lighting systems be replaced at the same time.
